How might we help explain grid alerts to Albertans?

This design was part of an initiative to help Albertans understand what can cause a grid alert. Working with system controllers and industry advisors, a process diagram was developed to help simplify the information for Stakeholders.

My role was information and graphic design. I developed a visual aid to explain the complexity of grid alerts in a simple way. I worked with senior leaders to create this diagram, and tested it with users.

This diagram now lives on aeso.ca.
